Veículos Strogg

Hog Scout Vehicle

Crew: 2 Strogg
Positions: Driver, Gunner
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Ramming Shield, Mounted Hyperblaster.
Role: Armed Reconnaissance
Armor: Light
Speed: Fast

Description: With a face only an Engineer could love, the Hog (like most Strogg vehicles) makes no concessions to aesthetics or comfort. Its lack of shock absorbers makes handling on rough terrain difficult, but its internal Engine Boost [Shift Key Default] allows it to tear along roads and level terrain at a very high rate of speed. When the Boost is engaged a force field is generated in front of the vehicle allowing it to ram GDF troops and vehicles with devastating effect. The Driver can also deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defence. The Gunner can strafe infantry with the roof-mounted Hyperblaster, and even do respectable damage to low-flying aircraft and other lightly armoured targets.

Desecrator HoverTank

Crew: 2 Strogg
Positions: Driver, Gunner
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Plasma Cannon, Hyperblaster
Role: Anti-Armor
Armor: Medium
Speed: Medium

Description: The low menacing hum of the Desecrator’s gravitic repulsors strikes fear into even the most battle hardened veteran. Though ponderous, the heavily armed and armoured Desecrator is a floating weapons platform, able to glide across land and water alike. The Desecrator is also able to cut power to its repulsors and hunker down into Siege Mode [C Key Default], which increases its defense at the expense of mobility. The driver controls the powerful Plasma Cannon, as well as Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The Gunner can cut down infantry with the roof-mounted Hyperblaster, as well as provide some anti-aircraft defense.

Cyclops Heavy Walker

Crew: 1 Strogg
Positions: Driver
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Dual-Plasma Cannons, Stomp
Role: Heavy Assault
Armor: Heavy
Speed: Medium

Description: You feel it coming before you ever see it. Thunderous footfalls shake the earth like a harbinger of doom. The most heavily armed and armoured vehicle on or off the planet. The Cyclops Driver charges into the most heavily defended GDF base, knowing his Strogg allies are close behind, obliterating defenses with dual Plasma Cannons, deploying Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense and the ability to Stomp any infantry beneath him [Spacebar Key Default].

The Strogg Cyclops can crouch to maximize firepower at the expense of mobility. Hit Crouch to go into hunkered-down Siege Mode, and Jump to return to normal.

Icarus GravPack

Crew: 1 Strogg
Positions: Pilot
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Stroybomb
Role: Personal Transport
Armor: None
Speed: Very Fast

Description: The Icarus GravPack offers Strogg infantry unparalleled freedom of movement on the battlefield. Water, steep terrain, or tall buildings are no obstacle to the Icarus. The gravitic repulsors use a lot of energy, and can only Boost [Shift Key Default] for a short time before they must briefly recharge. So they act more like “Jump-Jets” than “Rocket-Packs”. Able to deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense, and drop small grenade-like Stroybombs on unwary infantry, Icarus equipped Strogg troopers are a significant challenge to GDF defenders. These versatile transports can even be dropped from orbit on the battlefield to aid stranded troops (requires Vehicle Proficiency Award).

Tormentor Attack Craft

Crew: 2 Strogg
Positions: Pilot, Gunner
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Hyperblaster, Strockets, Plasma Cannon
Role: Air Superiority & Close Air Support
Armor: Light
Speed: Very Fast

Description: The insect-like Tormentor is a familiar sight in the skies above the frontlines. Held aloft by anti-gravity repulsors and even stranger alien technologies, the Tormentor is a feared and highly maneuverable weapons platform. Strogg pilots "plug" into the bio-mechanical aircraft which literally becomes an extension of their will. This allows the Pilot to rain Plasma Cannon and Strocket fire down on GDF targets with great accuracy and effect, as well as deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The Gunner can strafe ground and air targets with the Hyperblaster.

The default controls for driving and flying are set with a digital stabilisation. It doesn't change the control scheme, but does make basic control of vehicles easier. To make flying easier for novice pilots, the air vehicle will automatically level itself, making it less crash-prone but harder to maneuver to its maximum extent.

Advanced Driving/Flying (option in shell)
This removes self-levelling default controls, and allows more radical exploration.
