Veículos GDF

Husky Quad

Crew: 1
Positions: Driver
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys
Role: All-Terrain Personal Transport
Armor: None
Speed: Fast

Description: The unarmed and lightly armoured Husky provides GDF troops with unsurpassed speed and mobility on the battlefield. Able to traverse rugged terrain, and shallow water, the Husky features a Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergency speed, a Handbrake [Left Ctrl Key Default] for tight turns, and Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. These all-purpose transports can even be dropped behind enemy lines by parachute to aid stranded troops (requires Vehicle Proficiency Award).

Armadillo Truck

Crew: 5 Humans
Positions: Driver, Gunner, 3 Passengers

Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Mounted GPMG Machine-Gun
Role: Light Armoured Transport
Armor: Light
Speed: Very Fast

Description: The light armored Armadillo provides rugged all-terrain transport, and some protection from small arms fire for up to five GDF troops and their gear. The Armadillo has a Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergency speed, a Handbrake [Left Ctrl Key Default] for tight turns, Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default], and a center-mounted GPMG Machine-Gun for defense. Excellent for transport and light-recon duty, the Armadillo is not equipped to engage most Strogg combat vehicles. The driver and passenger enjoy the greatest protection, but are unable to return enemy fire. The gunner can attack enemy infantry with the GPMG, while the two rear passengers are free to engage targets of opportunity with their own weapons.

Trojan Amphibious Personnel Carrier

Crew: 5 Humans
Positions: Driver, Gunner, 3 Passengers
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Machine Gun, Anti-Aircraft Missiles
Role: Amphibious Armoured Transport
Armor: Medium
Speed: Medium

Description: The Trojan Amphibious Personnel Carrier is the most versatile vehicle on the battlefield. Its heavier armour protects its crew of five from all but the heaviest weapons while its six wheels and aft-mounted waterjets allow it to traverse rough terrain, and even cross deep water. An internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default] gives it respectable speed in emergencies. The Trojan is also designed with roof mounted weapons which do not expose the crew to hostile fire. The driver can direct Machine-Gun fire against targets in the forward quarter, and deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The gunner can engage Strogg air assets in a full 360 degree arc with lethal guided Anti-Aircraft Missiles, which also do respectable damage to Deployables and light vehicles.

Titan Tank

Crew: 2 Humans
Positions: Driver, Passenger
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Tank Gun, Minigun
Role: Anti-Armor
Armor: Heavy
Speed: Medium

Description: The Titan main battle tank is the GDF’s primary ground assault vehicle. It is designed to go toe-to-toe with the heaviest armoured combat vehicles, and base defenses, and emerge victorious. All that armor comes at a price however. The Titan is by no means fast, although an internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default] gives it some speed in emergencies. The Driver commands the massive 150mm smooth bore Tank Gun which has incredible power and range, as well as Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The Passenger controls the hatch-mounted Minigun with high elevation tracking for effective anti-aircraft deterrence. The wide tracks make steep terrain or obstacles like wrecked cars no problem for the Titan. However the Titan commander would do well to steer clear of water.

MCP

Crew: 2
Positions: Driver, Gunner
Armament: Minigun, GPMG, Anti-Missile Decoys
Role: Mobile Command Post
Armor: Super Heavy
Speed: Slow

Description: The MCP (Mobile Command Post) is a large heavily armored vehicle used to capture new territories when it is deployed in a pre-determined location in a map. Once it is transported, any GDF member can drive it to its objective location and deploy it (simply get out once it has reached a full stop at the target location). Although slow moving, it is armed with serious firepower and can defend itself efficiently when a gunner is present. However, remaining team members are encouraged to escort the MCP and defend it when it is on the move.

Platypus Assault Boat

Crew: 2 Humans
Positions: Driver, Gunner
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Mounted GPMG Machine-Gun
Role: Light Aquatic Transport
Armor: None
Speed: Fast

Description: The Platypus Assault Boat affords GDF troops in the field an excellent way to cross any body of water quickly. Unlike its namesake, the Platypus is equipped with a powerful motor and an internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default], making it both speedy and highly maneuverable. The center-mounted GPMG Machine Gun is controlled by the Gunner and has high elevation, giving the boat an effective deterrent to both infantry and light aircraft. The Driver can also deploy Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense.

Anansi Attack ’Copter

Crew: 2 Humans
Positions: Pilot, Gunner
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Belly-Mounted Minigun, LAW Missiles, Rockets
Role: Close Air Support
Armor: Light
Speed: Very Fast

Description: The Anansi Attack Copter combines air superiority over the battlefield, and close air support for GDF forces on the ground along with Vertical Take-Off & Landing (VTOL) capability, which eliminates the need for runways. Fast and maneuverable, the Anansi has an internal engine Boost [Shift Key Default] for emergencies. The Pilot has lethal firepower at his command including LAW Guided Missiles, and Rocket Pods, to Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense. The Gunner can strafe ground and aerial units with the belly-mounted Minigun which has full 360 degree coverage.

The default controls for driving and flying are set with a digital stabilisation. It doesn't change the control scheme, but does make basic control of vehicles easier. To make flying easier for novice pilots, the air vehicle will automatically level itself, making it less crash-prone but harder to maneuver to its maximum extent.

Advanced Driving/Flying (option in shell)
This removes self-levelling default controls, and allows more radical exploration.

Bumblebee Hover Transport

Crew: 5 Humans
Positions: Pilot, 2 Gunners, 2 Passengers
Armament: Anti-Missile Decoys, Mounted GPMG Machine-Gun, 2 Miniguns
Role: Aerial Transport
Armor: Medium
Speed: Medium

Description: When GDF commanders need to insert a squad behind enemy lines in a hurry, they turn to the reliable Bumblebee. With room for up to five GDF troops, the Bumblebee has enough armour to withstand small arms fire from the ground and Anti-Missile Decoys [1 Key Default] for defense against air-to-air, and ground-to-air guided munitions. The Pilot can help soften up hot LZ’s with the nose-mounted GPMG Machine-Gun. The Bumblebee also has respectable firepower when fully manned. Both the starboard, and port side Gunners have mounted Mini-Guns that are perfect for shredding enemy infantry and light vehicles. The two remaining seats allow their Passengers to fire their personal weapons out the sides of the aircraft.

To make flying easier for novice pilots, the air vehicle will automatically level itself, making it less crash-prone but harder to manoeuvre to its maximum extent.
